7 Paths To Inner Peace Through Art
“Art is for everyone” may be a term that is tough to swallow for some, why? Because not all people understand how to paint. Some don’t even understand how to make a drawing out of stick figures and others simply lack the imaginative ability to paint or make a sculpture. Whenever we talk about art the first thing that comes into our mind are paintings, sculptures and music but what we fail to recognize is that art is more than simply paintings and sculptures.
Art is about anything that we do whether or not it’s learning, reading, performing daily tasks and even when we speak it’s an art as we are creative in articulating our thoughts. When we play a game like basketball or baseball there is also art concerned because you’ve got to have the ideal form for you to shoot or hit the ball. When we do our household chores there is also art involved in it. When we clean certain rooms we don’t just put our things anywhere, we prepare it in a way that’s pleasant to our eyes. You do not have to be a balletdancer in order to be called an artist.
We’re all artists in our own special way. In our history there are lots of great artists from different fields in music we have Amadeus Mozart and Beethoven, in painting we have Raphael and Vincent Van Gogh in sculpture we have Michael Angelo and plenty more. These great artists should not be a real incentive for us to get envious just because we may not have their oil painting techniques or composition abilities and skills.
We must be happy with them because they have shown the whole world what human beings are capable of doing. We might not reach their level of experience in their given field but we should not get put off if we are still learning how to paint or sculpting. We should make them our role models because at one time they too struggled in learning how to paint or play music but with constant practice we will improve our skills in painting or any other art that we adore.
Being creative is an inborn part of being a human. Being creative means having the ability to convey your emotions, thoughts and yearnings to the things which you do may it be painting and sculpting or just simply cleaning your room or articulating your thoughts. Hereafter the phrase “art is for everyone” has some truth painted in it. Always keep in mind that art isn’t limited to paintings, sculptures, music and dancing although these are called formal arts there are also generic arts and these are the things that we do in our everyday life. Art indeed is actually for everybody not only for professional artists. So what are you waiting for? It is time for you to show your creativity in your own unique artistic ways.
